Hi and welcome to my web-page.
I was born in Corvallis, Oregon on Oct. 19, 1942 and lived there until I
was about 3 and moved to Marysville, Calif. and lived there in a foster
home until I was addopted by the Whiteheads from Brady, Texas.
I graduated from Fredericksburg High School and took art in H.S. then
went to Junior College in Alvin, Texas and also Yuba City, Calif. were I
studied art and business.
I have always been intreasted in art and the things Mother Nature put on
the Earth for us all to enjoy and use to show our appreciation. I've
had love also for the Native-Americans and their
ways and respect of this land. They are also a gifted people but this
was a way of their lifestyle.
I work as a janitor now as the computer took my drafting job from me and
I quit working as a draftsman about 15 years ago and have worked at two
schools.
I was out walking in the woods here in East Texas one day looking for
Indian artifacts when I found an old pine-knot floating in the water. I
thought it looked neat and took it home with me.
After looking at it I thought I might could make a Peliated Woodpecker
out of it. A lady saw it and offered me $50 for it. I later made a
dog, ducks, humingbirds and geese. I saw that I could carve things from
nature and deceided to try and make a fishing lure. I made several
which Mr. Mike Rolf bought
from me and later Mr. Adam Hartmann said I
ought to try and auction one on the computer. I had just bought a
computer but didn't know how to do much on it. Mr. Hartmann was very
helpful and posted my lure for me and it sold for $75. I was so happy
that someone out there appreciated my work and started making more and
selling just about everything I made.
Thanks to the many great customers for helping me release this gift that
God has given me.
A special thanks goes to:

their intreast I would have probably given up on ever trying to do sale
or display my work. Thanks All!
